THE RETAINER (MY ROLE)
Ahead of their annual Pride-focused digital issue for Pride month in June, I ideated all storytelling, imagery, and design associated with The Exist Issue. From concept to post-production, I was highly involved in every step of the creative process.

THE mood board - issue concept
The visual direction for this digital issue blends soft botanicals, earthy textures, gentle light, and odes to Renaissance portraiture to celebrate queer identities and make their presence feel classical and revered.
Using balanced composition, strong light-and-shadow, and warm, tactile materials, it frames queer identity as naturally beautiful. Colors and materials convey quiet joy and dignity. The result: a cohesive identity that affirms existence as deserving of beauty, care, and attention.

TALENT SHOOTS: MOOD BOARDS
FLETCHER: THE COVER STAR
As the cover star, FLETCHER’s photoshoot leans heavily into the overarching issue theme of Renaissance-inspired imagery with a modern twist, representing her as a work of art that you’d observe in a museum. We wanted to pay homage to some of the most famous artworks of the time, such as the Birth of Venus, playing into themes of divine beauty, humanism, inspiration, and love.
FRANCESCA & JESSE: PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
A secondary shoot was incorporated into this issue, highlighting an exciting pregnancy announcement from reality tv star Francesca Farago and her parter Jesse Sulli. The focus of this shoot was celebrating a nontraditional family dynamic while also showing that their experience is not all that different.

CREATIVE IMAGE EDITS
I brought this studio imagery to life with creative image edits to further solidify the theme of art, paying homage to Renaissance works. One image of FLETCHER incorporated her into a painting inspired by the Birth of Venus, while another uses creative editing to add statues around FLETCHER.
